Moncton area karting track showcases upgrades to the facility on their new and improved website

Moncton, New Brunswick - East Coast Karting, the Maritimes best karting facility, launched a new website today to showcase the many new upgrades and additions to the public karting facility. Opened in 1992, East Coast Karting has seen significant growth in all aspects of their business in 2009, a testament to the many changes that the property underwent in the last two years. Under the direction of track manager Gerald Caseley, ECK has grown to be the best and the fastest kart track in the Atlantic Region.

There is information on the track, rental karts, racing leagues and kids programs. The new website also has detailed directions to the track, a map of the area and a section for hours of operations. Looking to the future for new ways to grow the sport at the grass roots level, ECK has added cadet rental karts for youngsters to enjoy the thrill of speed. Kids looking for exciting summertime activities can join one of the many Kart Kamps for Kids. Programs run from Tuesday to Saturday during summer holidays. Call for details.

"Our kids camps have been especially good over the last couple of summers," states Caseley. "It's a great chance for kids to enjoy a week of speed and thrills, something not every kid can say they did during their summer break."

The ECK racing leagues are the perfect opportunity for enthusiasts looking to get into karting but aren't ready to make the full commitment. No previous racing experience is required and ECK supplies everything from kart to helmet to fuel. These weekly racing leagues use race-prepared karts that offer more performance and speed than the rental program. Drivers experience the thrill of wheel-to-wheel racing action as they run through heats and a feature race.
